Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Silver Spring, MD, I later ventured to Queens, NY, for college at St. John’s University before returning home to immerse myself in all the D.C. area has to offer. Back in 2019, inspired by the vibrant and ever-evolving food scene, I combined my knack for photography with my love of discovering new restaurants, giving birth to Tastes of the Union. The name, a creative nod to the State of the Union, reflects my dedication to showcasing the best flavors from D.C. and its surrounding areas. In recent years, I’ve expanded my adventures to include travel, uncovering unique places to stay, must-visit attractions, and, of course, the best spots to eat.
