How many followers do I need?

Follower count is pretty easy to manipulate. Because of this, we're less focused on follower count and more focused on your engagement rate and content. Most influencers accepted average around 1,000 likes per post. We also admit photographers, which means we do not take your following or engagement into account. What fees do you charge?

Stayamo is a free platform. There are absolutely zero fees to use the platform for creators, hosts, and hotels.

Can I add multiple listings?

Yes, you can add multiple listings under the same account. There is no need to apply with a different email for each home you own or manage.

Who pays for the cleaning fee?

Accepted Answer

Most of our hosts choose to pay the cleaning fees or tidy up the homes after a collaboration, but hosts may also opt to charge the fee to influencers. All influencers are expected to act courteously while visiting.

Can I offer a discount instead of a free stay?

Absolutely. You can choose to offer a free stay or a discounted stay to any influncer on Stayamo.

What influencers do you work with?

We have thousands of content creators on Stayamo – from influencers with 1,000 followers to 10M+ followers. We have a preference towards travel content creators with strong engagement rates. We also accept talented photographers without a following, so long as they have exceptional content and can provide stunning photography for homes and hotels.

Do I have to give a free stay to everyone that messages me?

No, you can choose to accept or deny collaboration requests. You can also choose to only offer midweek stays or both midweek and weekend stays.

Do you accept private accounts?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes. It's harder for both hosts and our team to validate private accounts, but we're willing to work around that for notable creators.

Do you only work with travel influencers?

Accepted Answer

No. We work with influencers across a broad spectrum of categories, but the vast majority of our content creators are focused on travel, lifestyle, health & wellness, fashion, and photography. We encourage creators of all types to apply.

What social media platforms do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We currently support Instagram and TikTok, but plan to add YouTube and other platforms in the future.

Question 11

I don't have a large following – should I still apply?

Accepted Answer

Of course! We make exceptions for talented photographers that are able to deliver professional content for hosts and hotels. If that describes you, we'd love to see your application.
